This Blue Dragon Mini Portable Cable connects portable systems to your home system and is designed to match the original Blue Dragon Headphone Cable. Featuring UP-OCC pure copper, it is a very neutral cable that will not add coloration to the sound.
A Minimum length of 1.5 feet is required for the dual Connector Option. Example: Dual Cardas GRCM RCAs.

Dragon Cables are handcrafted from quality materials in Moon Audio's headquarters in Cary, North Carolina. All of our cables are created with ultra pure, single-crystal silver and copper strands and engineered to provide the cleanest, most musical presentation. Our wire is void of impurities and crystalline boundaries, leaving nothing between you and your music.
Blue Dragon Sound Signature
The Blue Dragon is designed to be neutral and natural sounding. It improves dynamics without changing the original flavor of the headphone. Look at it as cleaning your eyeglasses, you want the clearest vision possible. The Blue Dragon does just that; it adds more of what the headphone already has but just makes it better. You get to hear more of the micro-dynamics of the music without tipping the sound signature forward or making it laid back.
The Blue Dragon pairs well with all genres, especially music full of stringed instruments. You get a better sense of reverberation and quicker decay of the notes. The piano note decays are quicker, almost as if the keys have just had a tune-up. We love this cable with Folk, Americana, Jazz, and singer-songwriter. Again, there is no right or wrong to which Dragon cable you choose. It is about what is right or your ears.
Blue Dragon Cable Design
Designed to integrate your mobile system into your home audio, the Blue Dragon Portable Mini cable uses a single run of cable. The cable uses 4 x 99.999% pure copper 24AWG Teflon-insulated stranded conductors. Each conductor is made up of a special, varying-size stranding geometry. The copper stranding is mixed with Kevlar stranding to reinforce the conductor. Making it stronger overall and less prone to failure due to the harsh, constant flexing a headphone cable receives. The conductors are then surrounded by cotton and a layer of Teflon tape, then shielded and placed in a polyethylene jacket for further protection.
The Blue Dragon Portable Mini Cable has no microphonics. The cable is extremely smooth-sounding with wonderful voicing and will remove the veil inflicted by poor-quality cables. Most cheap cables are made of poor, ultra-thin conductors that work as a bottleneck for the sound. It is a very neutral, natural-sounding cable, and it will not add coloration to the sound, but it will greatly improve dynamics and detail to the sound signature. Great for Folk, Rock and Roll, Bluegrass, Jazz, et cetera, where small bands have lots of instrument separation.
Version 3 is quieter than Version 2 with no microphonics. If right-angle connections are required, this cable is a better option over the Blue Dragon V3 Portable Interconnect.
